In the forest southeast of Villa Rosenkranzgasse 44 near the Jubiläumsweg
Dr. Hermann (von) Widerhofer (born 1832) was the personal physician of the children of the imperial family and died here in 1901, but is buried in Vienna. He had the villa built in 1895, it is said to have been a gift from the emperor. The chapel was completely rebuilt in 1960 on the site of an old bark chapel. However, it has been unused and closed for a long time.
The Chapel of St. Mary is made entirely of wood, a vertically clad frame building with Gothic elements. Roof turret with bell, concrete base.
