Europe Cube

At the beginning of May 2025, the "EURO CUBE" was set up at the roundabout behind the post office.

The work was designed by the Gmunden artist Josef Linschinger and is intended to be a permanent reminder of the Capital of Culture year 2024. The sculpture was acquired by the Bad Ischl Cultural Platform and donated to the city community.

The culture consists of six letters (EUROPE) that are shaped into a cube standing on top.

At the handover, Mayor Ines Schiller emphasized the importance of the artwork as a symbol of cohesion, diversity and European community. (Source: Ischler Woche of 7.5.2025, page 4)
