The commemorative plaque for Robert Stolz is located at Café Ramsauer, his favorite café, and was installed in 1976 (left of the entrance).

ROBERT STOLZ (1880, Graz – 1975, Berlin)

Stolz was an Austrian composer and conductor. He is considered the last master of Viennese operetta and was a long-time summer guest of Bad Ischl.

The inscription on the commemorative plaque IGOMU is the acronym of the Austrian Society for Operetta, Musical and Popular Music (Internationale Gesellschaft für Operette, Musical und Unterhaltungsmusik).
