The plot of land initially belonged to the “Heischberggut“ property.
In 1894, the house was built and bought by Baroness Gabriele Eynatten.
In 1917, Louise Kartousch purchased the villa.
Louise Kartousch (18 August 1886, Linz - 13 February 1964, Vienna) was a well-known actress and singer (soubrette) during the Viennese operetta time.
She was friends with Franz Lehár, and lived in this beautifully renovated villa in Ahorn until 1936.
In 1942, the villa was aryanized and not given back to Kartousch until 1950.
