On the way to the ruins of Wildenstein ("Old Roman Road"), there are several wayside shrines, which is why the path is also called "Shrine Trail".

One of these shrines is the one shown here with a Jesus head. More details are not known. The small monument is probably not very old.

The tree is eye-catching, which is gradually and noticeably absorbing the sign to Bad Ischl.
