Picture: Hiking group on the summit of Burgstallkogel Hill (756m) in March 2007. The shrine is already in the territory of the Municipality of Bad Goisern.

Wayside shrines on trees existed here as early as 1900, and pilgrimages were even held because according to legend, the statue of grace from the parish church of Lauffen was found here. However, there is no known historical evidence for the legend. The current shrine was built in 1996 by some residents of the village of Lauffen.

The shrine is a wooden gabled box (with tin roof) attached to a tree stump. In the box, there is an image of the picture of grace of Lauffen. Under the box, there is a sheet metal plate with the (shortened) legend of the origins of the pilgrimage of Lauffen.
