The first Station Chapel (image) is at Marktstrasse 49, just before the staircase leading to a pedestrian bridge over B 145 road. After the bridge, the narrow footpath leads up to the right to the three other Station Chapels and ends at the Calvary Church.

A brief information about the Calvary and the four Station Chapels:

From 1725, there was a wooden chapel at the Calvary in Lauffen. In 1746, the new stone chapel was completed. The stations in their present form date back to 1774. In 1964, during the construction of the bypass road, two Station Chapels were demolished. The chapels were rebuilt in 1967.

1st STATION CHAPEL

The remarkable features of this chapel are the shingle tent roof with diamond ornament and cloverleaf cross, as well as  the wrought iron grille, presumably from the early 19th century.

2nd STATION CHAPEL:

One of the wayside shrines that were newly built in 1967 and similar in shape to the previous building.
