Right in front of the Imperial Villa
The fountain that dominates the part of the park near the villa was added to the park ensemble relatively late, namely in 1881. It was created by Viktor Tilgner, a well-known sculptor of the “Ringstrasse Era”. Previously, in the fountain’s place there was an oval flower bed and after that a large candelabra.
The shallow, almost oval basin is located in the main axis of the Imperial Villa and features a larger and two smaller marble groups by Putti with jets of water between the fish as highlight.
