HONESTA KAINBERGER (1885, Sarleinsbach – 1965, Wels)
She was a Sister of the Holy Cross, and lived in the monastery of the Sisters of the Holy Cross next to the church Mary in the Shadow (Maria im Schatten) in Lauffen. For many, years she was a primary school teacher in Lauffen and a local historian (Lauffen Chronicle). Today, the elementary school and the monastery have closed.
The commemorative plaque is located at the former home of the Sisters of the Holy Cross.
