This war memorial was built in 1954.

The relief in the chapel was made by Ischl stonemason Josef Lechner.

The chapel-like building is made entirely of pink limestone. On the front wall on a newer stone pedestal is an artificial stone relief of the Lamentation (The Mourning Christ). At his feet on both sides, there is a frame with pictures of the soldiers of Lindau, who fell in the two world wars.
