At Filzmoosstrasse 40. At this point, Filzmoosstrasse turns into a path that leads east to Enderweg.
The old chapel, which belongs to the farmstead at Ahorn 23 (Filzmoosstrasse 15) and is situated at an old fork in the road, was reputedly built after WWI, but a chapel was already mentioned in an 1864 travel guide. In terms of style, Biedermeier seems to be the likely time of construction.
In 2004/05 the chapel was newly built in almost the same style a few metres north of the old location. Additionally, it was rotated 90 degrees.
On the whole, the building is similar to its predecessor, but simplified: broad pillars with a pyramidal roof, a beam-supported projecting roof through the eaves, crowned by a large cross with globe. The deep segmental arch niche is closed off by an iron honeycomb grille with glazing. The furnishings may have been partly taken over from the old chapel.
