On Perneckerstrasse, on the rock face at the narrow part of the road, near Sulzback Ravine (also known as Strub)
According to residents of Perneck, the reason for the shrine’s construction was a murder attempt around 1898. Josef St. tried to kill a pig dealer who owed him money.
Some people have also tried to commit suicide here by throwing themselves into the Sulzbach Ravine. Miraculously - take a look down into the ravine from the footbridge - some of them survived.
A few years ago, the shrine was restored.
