According to the house’s owners, the shrine with no inscription commemorates the sudden death in 1912 of Josef Müllegger, the 14-year-old son of the homeowners at the time. During the flood of 1920, the shrine was washed away, but was found downstream and reinstalled. Some time ago, a wrought iron grille was attached to it.

The shrine is a slightly larger cross with a gable roof and curved back wall, attached to a tree. It is painted in brown and ochre-yellow. The body was traditionally carved and naturalistically framed.
